You mean 17.10, and yes -- read
https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/linux/ubuntu/README.html
and follow the most recent release as 17.04 ("zesty") R binaries will just
work.

There has been a little delay in getting the packages on CRAN. All on my end, as some scripts need to redone. In the meantime, you can find packages for Artful (17.10) at the PPA that feeds CRAN here: https://launchpad.net/~marutter/+archive/ubuntu/rrutter Michael
