[R-sig-dyn-mod] Model comparison in deSolve/FME

Hello everyone,

I am wondering about people's preferences on doing model comparison
with different systems of ODEs. I noticed that there isn't a built-in
method for calculating AIC values in the deSolve/FME packages. Is there
another, preferred, method for model comparison other than information
criteria?

Any advice would be appreciated.
