Subject: Online Course – Network Analysis in R (5-8 May)
Dear all,
We are excited to announce our upcoming online course: Network Analysis in R, taking place from 5th to 8th May. This course provides a hands-on introduction to analysing and visualising network data using R.
What will we cover?
? Introduction to graph theory and network data structures
? Creating and exploring network objects in R
? Calculating network-, node-, and edge-level statistics
? Detecting and assessing network clusters
? Statistical modelling of network data
? Network visualisation with {igraph}, {tidygraph}, and {ggraph}
Who Should Attend?
Those thinking of taking this course should have a minimum of intermediate familiarity with statistical analysis (linear modelling, etc), as well as aptitude with the R coding language and the tidyverse. Beginners with R and those unfamiliar or uncomfortable with data manipulation are discouraged from attending, as this may impede your ability to make the most of the course.
