Help with package adehabitat

Hello All, 

I am a graduate student trying to use the package "adehabitat" to perform compositional analysis of diet use versus availability as described in Aebischer (1993). The function "compana" works wonderfully to perform the compositional analysis, but now I need to incorporate other factors to test hypotheses, such as a two-way analysis of site type and sex (I am using red-spotted newts as my study organsim). I am relatively new to R and am having difficulty with this. Any help would be appreciated.
