nlm warning report 'iterations terminated because half step-size are very small'

Hello everyone,

I am using nlm to optimize my own function. But it continuously  gice warnings as follows:

'In eval (expr, envir, erlos) iterations terminated because half step-size are very small...'

Things like that, anyone came across any similar question? any suggestion is welcome!
