Last 3 Seats Available! Join our Ecological Remote Sensing Course in R

Dear all,
We're excited to announce our upcoming course: **Introduction to Ecological Remote Sensing in R**, scheduled for September 11-15, 2023. To cater to international participants, this course will be conducted online.

Limited availability: Only 3 seats left!

**Course Overview:**
This comprehensive course addresses the intricacies of ecological remote sensing, with a focus on planetary changes. Designed for beginners in R, we'll guide you from the fundamentals of coding in R to conducting step-by-step remote sensing analyses.

**Learning Outcomes:**
- Set up and manage a GitHub account to store your code.
- Learn basic coding in R and apply it to remote sensing data analysis.
- Get an introduction to LaTeX for coding texts and reporting output.

**Program:**
Daily Schedule: 15:00 - 18:00 (Berlin Time)

**Session Highlights:**
- **Session 1 (Monday):** Dive into the roots of ecological remote sensing and get acquainted with coordinate systems.

- **Session 2 (Tuesday):** Explore remote sensing data with hands-on exercises using Landsat data and the R package "terra."

- **Session 3 (Wednesday):** Analyze vegetation indices using Amazon forest as a case study. Learn multitemporal analysis with Copernicus data using "terra," "RStoolbox," and more.

- **Session 4 (Thursday):** Embark on image classification and multivariate analysis using "RStoolbox." Study spatial variability and image diversity with Sentinel data and "terra," "rasterdiv," and more.

- **Session 5 (Friday):** Learn reporting techniques using "knitr" for R reports and get introduced to LaTeX basics for articles and beamer presentations.

Secure your spot now to become proficient in coding your own analysis workflows and effectively communicating findings with LaTeX.
