Dear all,
We are excited to announce the upcoming Physalia online course: Marine Spatial Data Analysis in R
Dates: 24?27 November - Daily sessions from 15:00 to 18:00 Berlin time
Course website: [ https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/marine-spatial-data-in-r/ ]( https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/marine-spatial-data-in-r/ )
This hands-on course is designed to help marine ecologists, oceanographers, and conservation scientists enhance their skills in processing, analyzing, and visualizing marine spatial datasets using R.
Over four days, participants will work with a range of spatial data?including bathymetry, oceanography, biodiversity records, and human activity layers?to support marine research and spatial planning.
What you?ll learn:
Process and analyze biotic, abiotic, and anthropogenic marine datasets
Create high-quality maps and visualizations
Integrate multiple data sources for conservation and spatial planning
Session highlights:
Day 1 ? Benthic terrain & habitat mapping Day 2 ? Pelagic ecosystems & oceanographic data Day 3 ? Species distributions & animal tracking Day 4 ? Human impacts & marine spatial planning
Best regards,
Carlo
