Mozilla Festival 2018 - Call for Proposals (submissions due Aug 1, 2018)

Hi, everyone!

The call for proposals <https://mozillafestival.org/proposals> for Mozilla
Festival (MozFest) 2018 is open and the submission deadline is Aug 1. The
festival will happen in London, Oct 26-28. Since many people from the R
community is committed to Open Science or Open Source, this might be a good
opportunity to showcase your work and connect to a wider community.

The festival is organized in spaces, and I'm one of the wranglers from Openness
space <https://mozillafestival.org/spaces#Openness>, that is likely to be
the choice for Open Science related projects. Session formats this year
include Learning Forum, Gallery, and Shed (hands-on making, hacking and
prototyping). There are a limited number of travel stipends available for
accepted sessions.
