Distributed hydrological model in R

I asked about the SWAT/GRASS GIS interface to the SWAT team, and they told
me that it is still available, but is not being updated. Unfortunately,
they moved into ArcGIS :(

   Yeah, they did that a while ago for some unknown reason. I partially
upgraded the GRASS-4.x interface to GRASS-5.x but did not finish because I
no longer needed the SWAT model. The GRASS interface can be upgraded to -6.x
or -7.x now.

There is also a MapWindow GIS interface, but it only works for Windows ...

Feh! I've not used anything Microsoft since 1997.

PS, just in case: you did not include the r-sig-eco mailing list in your
reply.

Thought it was off-topic (SWAT and GRASS, no R).
