This course offers an introduction to generalised additive models 
(GAMs), linear mixed-effects models, generalised linear mixed-effects 
models (GLMMs), the combination of GAMs and GLMMs, and also includes 
examples of GAMMs applied to spatial and spatio-temporal data.
