Dear all,
We are excited to announce our upcoming online course, "Analysing Biodiversity Through Time and Space using R" scheduled in September (5-6-9-10-11).

This course will guide you through constructing reproducible, automated workflows for biodiversity data acquisition, cleaning, and analysis in R. Suitable for both palaeontological and neontological datasets, you'll learn how to integrate these during biodiversity analysis through time and space.

This course is ideal for students, researchers, and practitioners interested in biodiversity analysis. Participants should have basic experience with R and be comfortable working with computers. A webcam is recommended for interactive sessions.
Key Learning Outcomes
Understand biological occurrence data and key databases.
Gain practical knowledge of GIS, chronostratigraphy, and palaeogeographic models in R.
Learn about the diversification process, taxonomic diversity structuring, and diversity metrics.
Address sampling biases and learn tools to mitigate these issues.
Appreciate empirical diversity patterns and test relevant hypotheses.
