Hello R-SIG-ECOLOGY members

Discover how to enhance your ecological research by mastering spatial data analysis techniques. Spatial Statistics in R led by Nick Bearman (University College London and Geospatial Training Solutions) is now available as an on-demand streaming seminar. This workshop introduces spatial statistics using R, a vital skill for understanding patterns and relationships in geographically referenced data. Ecologists and environmental scientists can apply these techniques to analyze spatial dependencies in vegetation, soil, or hydrological data, enriching their research outcomes with nuanced spatial insights. Participants will learn to use R and GeoDa for exploratory spatial data analysis, calculate Moran's I and LISA, and perform spatial regressions, enabling more robust analysis of their own ecological datasets.

Access this seminar (https://instats.org/seminar/spatial-statistics-in-r-1) whenever convenient and feel free to circulate this with colleagues and students who may be interested!

Best wishes
