Hi everyone
Instats is excited to offer a 1-day seminar, Longitudinal Analysis in Biostatistics <https://instats.org/seminar/longitudinal-analysis-in-biostatistics-p>, livestreaming on November 14 and led by Dr Tuhin Sheikh from Arizona State University. Longitudinal data?repeated observations of the same subjects over time?allow researchers to probe temporal dynamics and causal mechanisms, yet they also present thorny challenges such as time-varying correlation, missingness, and hierarchical structure. This intensive workshop empowers PhD students, academics, and professional researchers to meet those challenges head-on using R and RStudio. Across three focused sessions, you will contrast marginal and conditional modeling frameworks, unravel strategies for handling MAR and MNAR missing data via multiple imputation and sensitivity analysis, and demystify multilevel models for nested designs like patients within hospitals or students within schools. Through real-world case studies and hands-on coding exercises, you will leave with the conceptual grounding and practical skills required to advance your own longitudinal research.
Sign up today <https://instats.org//seminar/longitudinal-analysis-in-biostatistics-p> to secure your spot, and feel free to share this opportunity with colleagues and students who might benefit!
Best wishes
