memory over load?
Hi Lynn, You are posting to the Epi Special Interest Group list in R (R-Sig-Epi). This is a list to post specific question about epidemiological analysis using R. If you have a general question about using R, you should subscribe to the general R-Help list. For a general a introduction about the different R-lists, please visit this website http://www.r-project.org/mail.html Type ?gc into the R console-> hit Enter and you will see the answer to your second question. I hope this helps, Francisco

I have to plead ignorance on two counts: 1. Where is general list? 2. What is gc()? Thanks for the help. This is not an epi question. You may want to place it into the general list. If you were to do that, I would have pointed you to gc() :-) Regards, Francisco Lynn Disney wrote:
I have been running logistic regression on R and am getting memory overload issues. Is there a way to clear out the memory without restarting R so that I can save my work? I have tried already
rm(model1)
to remove the work from the first model so that I can run the second, but it doesn't clear out enough memory. Thanks. Lynn D. Disney, Ph.D., J.D., M.P.H. Research Analyst [[alternative HTML version deleted]]
