The course combines lectures, discussions and hands-on exercises to provide both the theoretical background and the practical tools needed to fit, interpret and visualise GAMs in R using the mgcv and gratia packages. Sessions will run from 14:00 to 20:00 (Berlin time), Monday to Thursday.
