About RBloomberg

Hi Ana,

Thanks for your advice.

Just visited;

http://gorgyrella.rubyforge.org/
http://rubyforge.org/projects/gorgyrella

I'll keep my eyes on them.

I tested many R financial software, Open Source, in the past, R and RExcel, R, R
and Calc etc. I wonder how can I test/learn RBloomberg without Bloomberg
server? It there a solution or alternative?

B.R.

Stephen,

There is a newer version of RBloomberg using the Java API available at
findata.org

Also, I have just received a patch to allow this to be run on Linux
for the Bloomberg server. I will be incorporating this into the
findata.org version of RBloomberg shortly.
