Gabor ,you may get traction by consulting a list that is in the FAQ section of Wilmott forums. (www.wilmott.com). There were several free sources listed there to my memory, but I don't remember if there was a source for broad asset classes. Vivek

Is anyone aware of data sources, preferably free but
commercial if need be, for historical price
data (daily, weekly or even monthly would be ok)
for various broad asset classes.
