Subject: shapefiles to/from svg converters
Dear list,
I work on a code to create some maps on a webpage using Javascript and
SVG (which is now fairly well supported by most major browsers).
There are some tools to convert shapefiles to SVG (e.g.
http://www.webmapper.net/svg/create/), and I wanted to ask:
- is there an R code to create SVG from shapefiles?
- would it be possible to revert the process, in order to obtain a
shapefile from an SVG file?
