Field names abbreviated for ESRI Shapefile driver
Hi Milu, It is not possible to preserve your field/variable name when creating ESRI shapefiles as the maximum length of field names is limited to 10 character. See https://community.esri.com/thread/63279 I believe the geopackage format does not have the 10 character limit, so you may want to try that. Hope it helps. Kind regards, Joseph Lewis

The variable names have the following pattern; "weight_2010" but
become like this "w__201". How can I preserve field/variable names? Thank
