package raster stack function do not work

Thanks for your fast reply,

sometimes it's hard to work in a big company where you depend on system 
administrators. It seems that there was an update in rgdal (and sp) on 
my network linux machine and that conflicts with R version 2.12.1. Same 
problem (error message reading image data: "Error in 
getDriverName(getDriver(x)) : Null external pointer") So I can nothing 
do without administrator privileges and wait until beginning of next 
week. But very great thanks for your efforts, especially Robert for 
testing my data.
