R Project in Google Summer of Code 2014

Dear list members,

This e-mail is to let you know that the R Project has been accepted as a
participating organisation for Google Summer of Code 2014. This is an
initiative by Google and it funds students for a few months in the
summer time to develop open source software. You can find more
