alternate corField (clim.pact) function

Hello,

I?m looking to produce maps of the correlation between a time series at 1 location to global climate variables (SLP, SST etc). A few years ago I did this using ?corField? from the clim.pact package, but since this package is now defunct I was wondering if anyone has idea for an alternative function/package.
