Kriging wiht anisotropy modeling using great circle distance in gstat [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Thank you Johan for the clarification. Given this limitation with gstat, I was wondering if there is any package in R or so that supports kriging with anisotropy modelling using great circle distance. Or is gstat going to be developed to overcome this limitation? Thank you in advance! Is there anything wrong in my code or it is a bug? Any suggestions are appreciated!
As you can read from the error message, nothing is wrong with your code or with gstat, but anisotropy is not supported when you use great circle distances.
