Convert shapefiles to objects of the class geodata in geoR and geoRglm

Hi all,

I appreciate if someone can help me with this. I have two shapefiles,each one in point and polygon format. I would like to convert them to objects of the class geodata to be used later on with 'geoR' and'geoRglm' packages. How can I do this?
