spatial range parameter in ruf.fit (package ruf)

Hi

Did anyone get to the bottom of this? I am still confused - should I enter
the h value from the utilisation distribution as the smoothness and spatial
range?

Thanks
Anna

OK it has been sorted.

Here is what to put into the ruf.fit for future users:

hval <-c(h, 1.5)

where h is the h value used to create the kernel utilisation distribution
for that individual. The 1.5 is always set at 1.5.

Cheers
