[R--gR] unordered, 3 variable scatter plotting
BTW: This is more an R-help question but has not much to do with the topic of this list, AFAICS.

I am unable to persuade any high level routine in R to provide image, contour or perspective plots of unordered 3 dimensional triples (y1,y2,y3) in the same way that plot (y1,y2) will do. Pairwise combinations I can do but would like to have a cohesive pseudo-three dimensional graphical display the data points which do not form ascending values.
See cloud() in package "lattice", scatterplot3d() in "scatterplot3d", or plot3d() in "rgl". Uwe Ligges
Can anyone remove my ignorance? Thank you in advance. Michael Grant
