A good starting point for making a tcltk GUI for R is by looking at existing
ones. Rcmdr (R Commander, a R package you will find in CRAN) comes to mind
first. It is a very neat interface, with menus, a script/log window and
several other good ideas (default data frame/formula, loading of menus from
file, ...). If we could all use R Cmdr as a reference for tcltk GUI in R, we
will certainly tend towards homogeneous implementations.

Subject: [R-gui] Using tcltk language with R system
Hello, Does anybody know how can i call a R function in a tcltk file? I
made
a tcltk file, but I need call functions in R. i.e: in R I can put
.Tcl("tcltk
statement"). There are a same command to call R in a tcltk file?
I want to make a R Gui using tcltk language, do you recommend use a tcltk
or
a R pack tcltk and don't use tcltk language?
Thanks for your attention.
