Heh, yes, it is a constant toss-up whether we will find a manageable
interface to a better GUI system, or whether Tk itself will develop to
something more desirable. Tile is sort of a sidetrack in my view; it
prettifies, but doesn't add (much?) functionality. I'd much rather see
a canvas that was powerful enough to support an R graphics device (the
standard one has serious problems with clipping). Has anyone been
playing around Zinc on Windows?
