[R-gui] Web based GUI

Hello to all.
First of all I want to thank all this community which is makeing me fell
very confortable. As you can see this is my first messag, so please forgive
any possible mistakes or misunderstandings.
The thing I want to talk to you is a new project of fully functional GUI
that I'm working on. This GUI is, first of all, CROSSPLATFORM as we all
want. This is because it is a WEB-BASED GUI. I have decided to implement it
as a webbased GUI because nowaday everybody wants movility, lightness and so
on. Also we have gadgets such as ebooks, iphones, netbooks... with small
processors and strange OS, therefore I decided to implement a webbased GUI
for R wihch will be accesible trough every single device with internet
connection and also it is implemented using XHTML+Javascript that is easily
comprensible by everyone and can be enhanced with even better graphic
interface than the original R.
So... I would like that you visit the webpage and write here all your

Are you aware of RWeb: http://bayes.math.montana.edu/Rweb/Rweb.general.html

Very similar to your project. Although it doesn?t seem to be  
working at the moment.

Hi Adri?n

Looks impressive. Something like this might be useful for potential
new users, so they could try some things without committing themselves
to installing anything. If that is your audience I would add a few
hints to the page about examples to try.

Are you planning to allow data files to be uploaded? Currently, users'
data can be read in from URLs.

I think it would be good to use the HTML help system, if possible,
rather than plain text.

Obviously a system like this could quickly be overwhelmed if it it
became at all popular... I assume you are running R processes inside
'nice' or somesuch.
