I posted a late night rambling to R-SIG-Mac last night and forgot to crosspost it here. However, now that its day and I'm coherent I won't subject this list to the same rambling. :-) Over the last few days I've been coding up the beginnings of a Cocoa-based front end for R that employs a notebook style interface a la Mathematica or Maple since I rather like that mode of operation. I put a quick build up on my website http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~bcellis/StatPaper.app.tar.gz You can't load or save or use graphics but the basic styling functionality is there (Text, Titles or various sorts, Code, Output) as is basic execution (I unknowingly duplicated RKWard in this respect. :-)) It assumes many things, like R being installed in the "usual" place so I won't be surprised if it crashes but it worked on my iBook running 10.2.4 :-) Byron Ellis (bellis@hsph.harvard.edu) "Oook" - The Librarian
