R Update - FAILED- HELP!!!

And yes the second time I did upload from:

http://cran.r-project.org/bin/macosx/

But only:

R-2.15.1-signed.pkg (latest version)

Please let me know if there is another update for RStudio that I should be
downloading.

Probably: but, yet again, that's from the RStudio people, which is a
completely different and entirely autonomous organization. I would
like to help you, but the recovery process may well be quite sensitive
and you'll need to check with them to make sure a re-install doesn't
clobber saved user state.

Also: moral of this story =  Save your files in a user directory
instead of trusting a convenience feature and backup!
