R installation error

Hello,

I am trying to install R on my Mac (Intel chip) and I keep getting this
error message:

The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the
installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. An
unexpected error occurred while moving files to the final destination.)


I was wondering if you knew anything I could try to fix this error.
