Graphics in R, version 4.3.2, does not work well in MacOS

I had not realize that by changing the size of the window where all the plots should be, everything appears.
The same thing happens to me too.

Using the default quartz() device and running the example line by line shows a blank device. If the device window is resized, however, the expected result appears. The example runs fine using x11(). The example also runs fine on both quartz() and x11() on my old x86 running under Sonoma 14.2.1.
