Shocking, but probably true. What I'll do is make a package to install all the components in the appropriate places (including the dylibs). It will take a couple of days, because using gcc-3.1 and Jaguar give FORTRAN troubles (who would have thought we would still complain about FORTRAN troubles in 2002).
