Using X11 from the mac terminal
Hadley, I get the same result as Duncan, sessionInfo() attached:

Sys.getenv("DISPLAY")
[1] "/tmp/launch-00BR0w/org.x:0"
sessionInfo()

Sys.getenv("DISPLAY")
[1] "0.0.0.0:0" I'm sure this used to work, but something has changed in the last few months. Any ideas?
I'm on a Mac right now that works, but it shows
