rattle doesnt rattle (David Winsemius)

Dear Simon,

I also have problem with rattle. On a MBP running OSX 10.5.8, with R 2.10.1, and the latest rattle 
package installed after installing GTK+ 2.18.5 framework (the one available on the link you kindly 
provided), I obtained the following:

Make sure you have X11 installed and running. However, probably the right place to report this is rattle authors/mailing list since it may also be an issue with insufficient error checking ...
