does biOps compile on OSX?

I would suggest contacting the maintainer for the issues to be addressed (CC'd - please, Matias, consider this as a bug report).

Thanks Simon for the report. I have been kind of away of R developing
lately, and it is probably I could not update/maintain the biOps
package in the near future. However, I have several fixes to address
to which I'm adding your comments. If I get the time, I'll be
deploying a release with the required changes.
