I posted without much thought after I watched the exciting SDK release  
video from www.apple.com.

I used to have a Palm device with some statistics and graphics  
functionality that I liked. It obviously did not have anything more in  
it in terms of features other than descriptive statistics, basic  
inferential statistics, and plots, not more than covered in an  
introductory course.
