Strange behavior of R when opening a Rdata file

Any solution for this now?
This has been confusing me for a while. I need to open Rdata files very often.

the good news is I know why (Apple changed a bit the structure of such opening AppleScript event descriptor in Lion), the bad news is I have to go through the scarce documentation. Hope that I find a solution today.

unfortunately I can confirm this bug for Lion and up. For (Snow) Leopard it works as expected.
I'll see whether I can find out what's going wrong for Lion.
