Setting colors in R.app

Hi,
I recently upgraded to leopard, and reinstalled R 2.6.1 from CRAN. When 
I try to change the background color in R.app (version 1.22 4859) it 
changes to blue no matter what color I select. Any idea what's going on 
here?
