You need pdftex. I use the teTeX distribution, and TeXShop http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/texshop.html though if you only use it for R documentation there may be simpler ways -thomas Thomas Lumley Assoc. Professor, Biostatistics tlumley@u.washington.edu University of Washington, Seattle
