The earlier versions used f2c and tcl/tk 8.0. The file merely contains the standard /usr/local/lib/R, without any additional packages. You can get the additional packages from the earlier distributions. It is quite possible, quite likely even, that running the program will not work because it requires dylibs that you do not have. A sprinkling of dylibs is in the same directory. If you need something else, drop me a line. The g77 I use comes from http://www-jlc.kek.jp/~fujiik/macosx/10.0.X/ which has oodles of great tools. tcl/tk 8.3.3 now compiles out of the box on OS X. === Jan de Leeuw; Professor and Chair, UCLA Department of Statistics; US mail: 9432 Boulter Hall, Box 951554, Los Angeles, CA 90095-1554 phone (310)-825-9550; fax (310)-206-5658; email: deleeuw@stat.ucla.edu homepage: http://www.stat.ucla.edu/~deleeuw ======================================================== No matter where you go, there you are. --- Buckaroo Banzai http://www.stat.ucla.edu/sounds/nomatter.au ======================================================== --Apple-Mail-343584611-6 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/enriched; charset=us-ascii In the usual place http://www.stat.ucla.edu/~deleeuw/R there is now a version of R-1.2.3 which has been compiled with gcc/ g77, and which uses tcl/tk 8.3.3.
