rgl strangeness

Hello all,

I'm having a bit of trouble with rgl, it loads okay and provides me  
with an image in my Apple X11 window, but whenever I go to manipulate  
it with my mouse it clears the image, the openGL rotation is  
preserved because I can create a new image and it will appear rotated  
to the degree I moved the mouse.

demo(rgl) is also playing up and may be the best way to see if the  
same thing happens on other machines.

It occurs in both binary and built from source versions of rgl

Have I overlooked something?
