I am sure you all find this super exciting, but I have to send messages to the
list to test things. I am trying one other setting to see if this will deal with
the problem that replies are going to the poster and not the list (where in the
vast majority of the cases they should go by default). Some of this behavior also
seems to depend on the email client used, which makes testing even more annoying
...
Best,
Wolfgang

Well, that adjustment sucks. Now, if you reply to a message, it only replies to
the person who posted and even with reply-all doesn't automatically include the
mailing list in the recipients. So one has to manually add the r-sig-meta-
analysis at r-project.org address of the mailing list back to the recipients, which
many people won't do. That's a definite no-go and I have reverted that
adjustment.
So for now, I will have to live with the problem that some messages are not
getting delivered to me (I now check the archives occasionally to see if this
problem has occurred, so I might see those messages eventually).
Best,
Wolfgang

Dear R-sig-meta-analysis Subscribers,
Due to one of the settings of the mailing list, some messages to the list have
not been delivered to me and possibily some other people. This has to do with
something called DMARC (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DMARC). I have made an
adjustment to the settings for the mailing list in the hopes that this will
mitigate this problem. If you notice any problems with receiving messages
(comparing what you receive with the archives
getting through), please let me know.
Best,
Wolfgang
