I would like to calculate SMD from fitted models. I have datasets that have various idiosyncrasies, such as variable sampling effort or repeated measures, which should be accounted for before calculating effect sizes. Is there a way to use metafor to calculate SMD using the output from a mixed model (such as glmer models from lme4 package)?
