Dear all, I am performing a meta-analysis with the rma.mv function. Is it possible to conduct the Egger?s test here? I am getting the error message that it?s not available for this class when running the regtest. I have already created funnel plots but I am looking for another method to visualise publication bias. In case the Egger?s test it not conducive, is there another/additional approach? Many thanks and kind regards, Tina Dudenh?ffer

Dear Tina, This has been discussed on this mailing list on a number of occasions. Please look through the archives: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-sig-meta-analysis/ and/or search them via: https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=ee4b2e6c93b6a9667 If you search for terms like "rma.mv egger" or "rma.mv 'publication bias'" you are likely to find a number of posts/threads dealing with this very question. Best, Wolfgang
