showCorrelation does not work in lmer
You should be able to suppress the correlations by explicitly calling print with the argument corr = FALSE

Hi all, as far as I understand it, summary(lmer.fit,showCorrelation=FALSE) should not show the correlations of the fixed effects, but at least in my setup it does not; correlations are displayed even with the above setting.
