Dear Raguel, Make sure that both site and transect are factors. Best regards, Thierry ir. In my design I have 3 nested random factors. Running glmer everything is fine when I just include the first level, but when I try to include the second level I have this error message:
model_seed2<-glmer(seedling~altitude+slope+herbs+shrubs+rocks+fec+AB+light+( 1|site/transect),data=datos,family=poisson) Error: length(f1) == length(f2) is not TRUE In addition: Warning messages: 1: In transect:site : numerical expression has 1319 elements: only the first used 2: In transect:site : numerical expression has 1319 elements: only the first used What does it means? I try this model with glmmPQL and everything was fine, but I have no idea why I have problems with glmer and no with glmPQL.Any clue? Thanks a lot! _______________________________________________ R-sig-mixed-models at r-project.org mailing list https://stat.ethz.ch/mailman/listinfo/r-sig-mixed-models
