Dear colleague, Just a short follow-up regarding our hybrid course/Introduction to GAMM and GLMM with R//,/ organised by James Cook University and taking place 2?6 March 2026. There are still places available. The course can be attended*onsite at James Cook University, Townsville Campus*, or*online via Zoom*. All live sessions run in the*Townsville time zone (09:00?16:00 local time)*, and online participants join the same interactive sessions as onsite attendees. All sessions run in*Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST, UTC+10)*. This is a practical, hands-on course covering GAMs, GLMMs, and GAMMs, including applications to spatial and spatio-temporal data. We work throughout in R using mgcv and glmmTMB, with a strong focus on interpretation, model validation, and real examples.
