Dear colleague,

Just a short follow-up regarding our hybrid course/Introduction to GAMM
and GLMM with R//,/ organised by James Cook University and taking place
2?6 March 2026.

There are still places available.

The course can be attended*onsite at James Cook University, Townsville
Campus*, or*online via Zoom*. All live sessions run in the*Townsville
time zone (09:00?16:00 local time)*, and online participants join the
same interactive sessions as onsite attendees. All sessions run
in*Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST, UTC+10)*.

This is a practical, hands-on course covering GAMs, GLMMs, and GAMMs,
including applications to spatial and spatio-temporal data. We work
throughout in R using mgcv and glmmTMB, with a strong focus on
interpretation, model validation, and real examples.

The course fee includes a one-hour face-to-face consultancy meeting
about your own data (within 12 months).

If you were considering joining us, now would be a good time to register.
