Dear all, I am dealing with a model in lmer and I would like to know how to retrieve the scale parameter values. It does not give it by default thank you very much in advance

I think we will need a bit more information to be able to help you. Could you perhaps include the output from a model that you have fit and describe in more detail what parameters estimates you wish to get?
